Australian Record!

On Monday 27^th March 2023 at Shoalhaven City Bowling Alley, Karina Peters – an “old” Rockets member and Holly Levers attempted to set an Australian Record (not Guinness Book of Records), for a Ladies Disability Duo – Highest Pinfall of String Pins in 2 hours”.

All looks good for the ladies to set this record, they are just waiting to hear back from TABOR for acceptance.

Welcome to the The Rockets blog

The Rockets Ten Pin Bowling Team is a club for people with disabilities, based at Zone Bowling Alley in Rooty Hill

The club is run by volunteer parents and carers. More volunteers, parents and carers are always welcome and needed to help run the club - please don't hesitate to offer whatever time or skills you can.

Rockets meet on Saturday mornings every fortnight for regular bowling, and can choose to travel far and wide to tournaments, for a day, a weekend or a week, depending on the location and scale of the tournament. Bowling is fun, and adaptable for people with all abilities. Rockets provides many opportunities for social activities, making friends, skill development, and just plain fun.
